At Lower Cross Farm there is two arenas to ride in. The indoor and the outdoor. The outdoor is filled with bright colored jumps. Our indoor can be used for jumping as well as flat work just like outdoor. We take pride in making sure the arenas are safe and are dragged multiple times a week. The outdoor arena has multiple different jumps so you can practice a course or work on something you have trouble with like coming strait. Our indoor arena provides us to never have to cancel lessons for weather reasons.
If you are looking to board your horse at our location, each day (according to the weather) your horse is turned-out to there own paddock. All horses are turned out all day. The paddock is a space where the can relax, eat grass and also be able to play around. The paddocks for the boarders are located in the back of the barn. Most of the paddocks in the back have a shelter. The shelter can be used anytime but this helps when it is raining. The horses are also quite often using it for shade which is great. Our paddocks are cleaned every few days.
Our stalls are a very nice size. They offer a cozy and safe housing for your horse and for our horses. All horses stalls get cleaned out every day. This includes some days new bedding or shavings. The water buckets in every stall are cleaned every day.
